CHRISTOPHER HUB built the app CHRISTO Warrenty Reminder as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by CHRISTOPHER HUB  at no cost and is intended for use as is.

3. App Permissions
To provide the specific functionality of the CHRISTO Warranty Reminder, this application requests the following sensitive permissions:
A. Camera Permission
The app requests access to your device’s camera.
Purpose: The camera is used to scan physical warranty cards or receipts. The app uses image processing technology to automatically detect and read the ‘Warranty Start Date’ and ‘Expiry Date’ from the card. This saves you from entering dates manually.
Privacy: The image processing and text extraction occur strictly locally on your device. The camera feed or captured images are not sent to any external server.
B. Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
The app requests permission to send push notifications.
Purpose: This permission is required to deliver timely reminders and alerts before your warranty is about to expire.
Privacy: These are local notifications triggered by the logic within the app based on the dates you stored. No notification data is transmitted to third parties.
Data Retention
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. If you uninstall the application, all saved warranty data and images within the app will be permanently deleted from the device.
Security
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information (stored locally), thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
